It's been too long!

I know my last post was in 2008 ... I really don't have much of an excuse, I just stopped blogging! But I'm back and I promise to be on top of it.

I'm too tired for much tonight ... the bathing of the great unwashed (five of the six dogs) drained it all out of me and the pint of Blood Orange Ciao Bella Sorbet I just sucked down didn't bring it back. Since I wake up like clockwork at 530am (thanks sunrise), I must be off to bed to attempt some semblance of sleep before that time.

Today is Pickle's 4th birthday ... he's buried in the dirt outside! We'll celebrate this weekend, surely he doesn't keep a calendar. I'll take him for a Blue Moon - at least one of can still enjoy a birthday libation!
























Only 13 weeks left until .....























the time can't go fast enough! I can't wait to stop puking and sweating profusely and drinking gallons of water a day in a futile attempt to stay hydrated in this May of record setting temperatures. I think my OB would agree ... if it wasn't unethical, he might induce me today to save himself the pain of listening to my whining and bitching - I know Steven would be on board as well.


I've already asked about IUDs and vasectomies as well as diet pills and personal trainers! A nanny is in the works! I'm totally prepared!! Now if I could just bring myself to buy a crib, carseat, bottles, diapers and maybe an outfit or 10 we'd be in business. Hell, I still haven't conceded to reality of maternity clothes ... and now I have to go buy diapers!!!


Last summer was WAY more fun ... note the cocktail, lack of 3 chins and boobs that actually fit in a swimsuit! Ah the memories!
